To the person who voted I hate them all- YOU ARE OFFICIALLY BANNED FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless it was an accident.

I need help. I am on vacation and I have been eating out almost every day and I am overwhelmed. I am going to give you the places I've been eating out at and you are going to vote on them I suggest m.p.i.f. does the same thing with her meals. This does not mean that I will not finish the Salty's vs. Ray's article. Nor (hee hee. I said nor.) does it mean I will not write posts I'm super interested in. So vote vote vote.
Krittika is a my favorite Thai food restaurant in my neighborhood. It's sort of small and you can't bring a lot of people. Each table has its own little paper lantern and it's never very loud, which makes for good ambiance.*
We ordered for an appetizer Tod Mun which are deep fried fishcakes, although good, a smidgen greasy. They are sort of small and don’t fill you up before your meal, which I think is good. These were 4 stars.
For one of the mains we had Prawns with green curry that, to me, was the color of toothpaste and sort of spicy, but the prawns were good and everything else about it was appealing. But, I didn’t have too much of that so I can't say much, but my parents were really liking it. This dish was only 3 stars.
Another thing we had was Yellow Curry which is chicken and potatoes in a yellow curry sauce ( hence the name.) the chicken was good but nothing special. The potatoes were cooked so that they were soft and easy to cut which was good because they were otherwise big non-bite size chunks. This was perfect mixed with the rice and Pad See Aew, but just a tad bit too spicy for me. This dish was 4 stars.
With that, we had my all time favorite dish at Krittika, Pad See Aew which is wide rice noodles stir-fried with carrots and broccoli, and can come with egg (which I believe is traditional)l or a meat selection. We had it with chicken. It was served with a sauce that was indescribable and and the carrots and broccoli had the sauce and were better than amazing. This dish was like 6 stars!
And the best part is we’ve never had a bad meal there and I don’t think you will either! So if you’re in the ‘hood, check it out! The directions are below.
Ciao for now!
*in this sort of restaurant you order food then share them.
So I don't go to many restaurants but I will review what I eat at home! So for dinner two nights ago I believe we had Eggplant Parmesan. The dish consists of egged and breaded eggplant and sauce and CHEESE!!!!!!!!! ( I amnot only keen on upper case but, exclamation points, too.) It was very good and was not overcooked. The eggplant was soft, the cheese was melted and the sauce was roasted tomato's with herbs and onion.
The next night we had lovely chicken, garlic and cheese ( Gotta love that cheese) sausages on whole wheat buns! On mine I had mayonnaise and onions. To complement this lovely food with had waffle fries. And so a spin on the classic HOT DOG!
Tonight we have Chicken Salad that I can't review because I haven't had it yet. But, as we speak my dabby is grilling the chicken and I can smell from the computer! I will let you know how it tastes as soon as possible!
P.S. don't you wish you ate dinner at MY house!
And because this is a food blog
Ciao, if that is how you spell it?
